How honest of Pig. Loafing is what he intends to do. It’s right there on his To-Do List. His aim might not be all that aspirational, but I bet he’ll not just try, but actually do. Loafing is what English philosopher, Bertrand Russell called idling. Disparaging? Au contraire! Russell’s thesis in In Praise of Idleness is this: “The time we enjoy wasting is not wasted time”. Pig didn’t need a philosopher to bless his loafing. He knows that doing nothing is still doing. So follow Pig’s lead. Don’t just try to relax, do relax.
