Let's Review

March 5, 2022 Robin McCoy

“I never saw anybody take so long to dress, and with such little result.”

“And, after all, what is a fashion? From the artistic point of view, it is usually a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.”

Oscar Wilde- wit, social critic, clever Victorian raconteur.  (From The Importance of Being Earnest - the comedic play in which the protagonists assume fictitious personae (Ernest) in their farcical escape from undesired social obligations.)

Wish Wilde were still around. He’d be lobbying for this fashion to be altered sooner than in six months. In his absence, I’ll do the lobbying.
